About Me

An accomplished cosmetics industry executive, Tom Redmond founded the international hair care company Aussie. His inspiration for the company came in 1979, when he visited Australia and tried a hair conditioner containing locally sourced ingredients and popular with Aboriginal people. Tom Redmond subsequently built Aussie into a brand that was featured prominently in hair salons and gained loyal customers worldwide. The brand is now owned by Procter & Gamble Co.

Mr. Redmond has stayed active in the cosmetics industry by creating Onesta Hair Care in 2006. The company emphasizes eco-consciousness in every aspect of its products. Onesta shampoos, conditioners, masques, foams, and probiotic protein treatments are produced with no animal cruelty. Featuring organic, natural ingredients, they are free of chemicals potentially harmful to humans.

A Westcliffe, Colorado, resident, Mr. Redmond runs the Wolf Springs Ranches and breeds and raises Arabian and half-Arabian horses. He takes part in equine events, and his horses have won a number of awards at various shows. Mr. Redmond is currently at work on a children’s book about Easter that he expects to have published in 2016.
